You will report to the Country manager in Greece and will have to deal with many internal services such as, but not limited to operational, administrative and commercial teams.
Managing the operational aspects of the charter base (Boat preparation, charter turn around, charter assistance, etc) for both Bareboat, Cabin & Fully crewed charter
Supervise staff, or help plan, direct or convey work instructions to other staff or third party contractors
Consult with country manager to develop plans for resolution of unusual or complex problems.
Identify and disseminate lessons learned, best practices and methods, tools, consistencies and inconsistencies across seasons.
Managing the Customer Service (check in, check out, clients briefing etc) and ensuring the quality is in line with company’s Standards
Management of technical maintenance of the boats (Including refit plan)
Managing and Optimizing the charter planning
Control of the stock and ordering of necessary spare parts Work in a close relation with our Purchase department
Administrative and personal management
Working in relation with other departments (Operational, Accounting, Sales, Administrative etc.)
Keep track with log books of the operation of each boat
Keep track of all the safety equipment onboard of each boat renewing when necessary
Keep track of yacht inventory renewing when necessary
Quality Control the cleaning of each boat prior to hand over to clients
Maintain yachts in good order during summer season
Keep track of all cleaning materials, renew stock when needed
Ensure the guest satisfaction
Ensure the good atmosphere at work for the team members
Organise weekly training for the team
Report to the Country manager regularly.
Minimum 3 years experience on a similar position in the yacht charter industry
Technical proficiency & experience in boat maintenance
Proactive, autonomous, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Forward thinking with excellent organizational skills, able to plan and execute
Maintain good relations with every individual, directly or indirectly in line with our business
Fluency in English is required
Other languages are an advantage
Skippers license is an advantage
Computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
