Job Description : Description Reportingto the Supervisor of Network Services, this position will be the seniortechnical resource for the Network and Collaboration Team.

In this role, theSenior Collaboration Engineer is responsible for providing technical directionfor the Network Services Team including providing VoIP / AV / Video Conferencingdesign, implementation and support of collaboration initiatives.

This positionrequires the Senior Engineer to perform functions such as design, engineer,install, troubleshoot, repair, test, support, monitoring, facilitating, reporting,documenting, training, working with VoIP, A / V, Video vendors, Legacy Voicevendors and perform preventative maintenance services as needed.

Responsibilities Architecture & Engineering ·Provide technical direction and oversight toteam members (including integrators / partners as needed) in relationship toVoice, AV and Video and other collaboration technologies.

  • Provide / Lead engineering and technical input tocreate, maintain, and implement collaboration engineering standards.·Support / resolve video conferencing / AV fieldincident tickets.
  • Support / lead voice and video system moves, addsand changes in field.·Participate in assignments and projects withminimal direction.
  • Participate in projects as the Collaboration Area(s)SME and help incorporate the team's strategies and design concepts intoprojects.
  • Provide peer training and reviews oncollaboration systems as needed.·Conduct research on collaboration products,services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and developmentefforts.
  • Drive Voice / Collaboration technologies POCdesigns and implementations.·Provide design / engineering / project leadership onnew / upgraded collaboration projects.
  • Produce architectural and engineering documentation.·Perform project management as needed.·Develop and implement policies, procedures, andassociated training for collaboration technologies.
  • Must comply with all company policies includingstatus reports, project timekeeping, project recharging, project managementreports, etc.
  • Operational Management ·Installing, configuring and troubleshootingCisco VOIP solutions.·Management of CUCM, Unity Connection, Ciscounity Express, CME and UCCX systems across the enterprise.

  • Monitor and analyze network performance acrossthe organization's LANs, WANs, Wireless communications, VoIP and securitydeployments.
  • Ensure the stable operation and efficientperformance of company voice and collaboration systems.·Monitor system capacity to determine its effecton performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing voice / collaborationdemands.
  • Identify and remedy network performancebottlenecks.·Install and configure all voice / collaborationhardware and equipment, includingCUCM,Unity Connection, Cisco unity Express, CME, UCCX, routers, switches, etc.
  • Maintaining CUCM Clustering, Device Mobility,Extension Mobility, Unified Mobility.·Managingand monitoring global VoIP network.
  • Resolvingpost-implementation issues - providing hyper-care support.·Performfeasibility study and risk assessments.·Suggesttechnical design changes as needed.
  • Installationand Configuration of CUCM, CME and CUC. Acquisition & Deployment ·Plan and implement any improvement, modification,or replacement of network infrastructure components.
  • Conduct research on network products, services,protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and developmentefforts.

  • No Percent of Travel Required : Less than 25% Position Title : Voice / Collaboration Services Engineer Skills and Experience : Formal Education & Certification ·College Degree in computer science, informationsciences or related field and 5-7 years of experience;
  • or 7-10 years relevantexperience.·Current Cisco Voice / VoIP certification preferred·Current CCNA certification is required.

  • CCNP or CCDP certification is a plus.·CCIE certification is a plus. Knowledge & Experience ·Ability toconfigure, troubleshoot and maintain Cisco Unified Communication Manager.
  • Ability toconfigure, troubleshoot and maintain Cisco Call Manager Express.·Knowledgeand previous experience with VoIP infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with QoS.·Experiencewith routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF & BGP are required.·Hands-on technical knowledge of network systems,protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, VoIP, LAN, WAN, TCP / IP, T / DS / OC,802.
  • 11x, and so on.·Expertise in technologies used to enable remoteemployees including, but not limited to telephony, PCs, wireless networking,WiFi, and Smartphone·Hands-on knowledge of the configuration of CUCM,Unity Connection , Cisco unity Express, CME and UCCX Personal Attributes ·Understands when new or alternate solutions arenecessary, and begins discussions with IT management and business / functionalpartners to identify needed improvements to the solution / service framework.

  • Shares information proactively, directsworkflows to leverage the expertise of individuals, and promotes a teamapproach to achieve common goals.
  • Provides solutions / services that conform toapproved industry frameworks within his or her domain or country that supportbest practices and standardization and meet requirements for risk, security,maintenance, scalability, and performance.
  • Initiates conversations with his / hermanager and customers / partners when new, customized or non-standard solutionsmay be necessary.

  • Gains trust by listening effectively, being openand transparent, and demonstrating results that the customer, business orfunction values.
  • Exceptional written and oral communicationskills.·Strong documentation skills.·Ability to conduct research into a wide range ofcomputing issues as required.
