Your responsibilities

  • Identifying project-specific environmental local / regional / national regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate and manage authorization processes with environment related public entities
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and editing of technical documents, such as environmental assessments, environmental impact reports and environmental management plans.
  • In collaboration with contracted developers, you will supervise and challenge the quality of the deliverables
  • Prepare detailed internal reports on project related matters and provide support for preparing permits, regulatory reports, and other compliance submittals.
  • Analysis of spatial or site scouting constraints, including desktop assessments, use of GIS tools and undertaking site visits
  • You will be overseeing the project structure, coordination of project planning and ensure a consistent documentation repository
  • You will sign accountable for timeline and quality, risk management, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • From time to time, you will support the investment and M&A team and opine on specific aspects of acquisition due diligence and documentation
  • Your qualifications

  • Academic Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability Sciences, Renewable Energies or similar
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in Project Development and permitting processes of PV Plants or Wind Farms
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS tools
  • Fluent Greek and English language skills
  • A keen interest in ESG related topics
  • Driving license and availability to travel from time to time
  • Good understanding of the regulatory infrastructure frameworks in Greece
  • Well-developed intercultural and communication skills - systematic organizational approach
