The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Analyst based in our Headquarters in Chalandri, Athens. The role reports to the Client Services Team Lead for South Europe and is responsible for 2nd level onsite support & remote support of all end users in Greece (Chalandri, Mandra Plant & Thessaloniki) plus other countries as needed.

Good customer service ethos, good troubleshooting skills and ability to work efficiently on their own initiative while being part of a matrix multinational organization structure, are key success factors for this role.


Key responsibilities include :

  • Act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level working with European IT and global support teams
  • Onsite support & remote support in all company’s locations in Chalandri, Mandra production plant and Thessaloniki
  • Use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems
  • Be the immediate support contact person for any urgent issues & ensure appropriate resolution
  • Perform Implement hardware and software change requests & updates as assigned
  • Work as part of European and Global support teams on IT projects
  • Liaise with external global IT vendors for local implementation needs
  • Coach users with the IT support model and correct IT processes
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • University Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience in a similar position including 1 year in a technical customer support role
  • Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English language (verbal & written communication) is a must. Any additional European languages will be considered a plus
  • Proficiency in : MS Office 2010 / O365 & Windows 10
  • Proven experience in VPN, remote / wireless access connectivity configuration and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Local client configurations including SMS, SAP GUI
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Experience in server management, network & cisco telephony configuration
  • Experience in Global system implementation projects would be an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer centric attitude
  • Proven troubleshooting (diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving) skills
  • Hands-on profile with excellent prioritization skills that can operate unsupervised yet as part of a team
  • Respect instructions & procedures and operate efficiently within a complex business environment
