A&M Greece : In 2011, A&M established an office in Greece which is growing within the following service lines : Restructuring Performance Improvement (Corporate & Private Equity) Financial Institutions Advisory Services (FIAS) Disputes & Investigations (D&I) Our clients are financial institutions, corporates, private equity and distressed credit funds.
We see a growing need for our FIAS services and would like to enhance our local resources which combined with our international FIAS professionals will provide the full services to the market.
Purpose of the role : Against this backdrop and our growing presence in Greece, an opportunity exists for a Financial Services Performance Improvement experienced professional (Director or Senior Director) based from our Athens office.
Entrenched in the challenges that the Financial Services sector faces in today’s challenging market conditions, the successful hire will be experienced in delivering solutions that address businesses critical issues.
Reporting initially to the Country Head for Greece, the successful appointee will work with our existing team and build the profile and reputation of the Firm in the Performance Improvement space with a route to market directly into Financial Services in Greece, Cyprus and SEE region.
Building on the success of the A&M brand, the successful candidate will bring unrivalled experience from both operational and advisory roles in the Financial Services sector, as well as a network of contacts.
The preferred candidate will support the development and execute a specific strategy focused on target clients and distinctive go-to-market propositions.
They will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, solution focused business entrepreneur determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.
Work closely with senior stakeholders in the clients’ business and with professionals from leading financial institutions.
Requirements for this position : The preferred candidate for this appointment will be an action-oriented self-starter with entrepreneurial flair, combing both Top Tier Advisory as well as in-house banking experience.
He / she will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high performing team. Critically, they will bring a network of contacts with a successful track record of successfully executing complex PI projects.
Additionally, the successful candidate will also be experienced in identifying and attracting top talent into the FS team in Athens.
