Position overview :
The job holder will be based in Ioannina.
Dealing with incoming faults in a professional, courteous manner over the phone and via email . Taking ownership of faults and managing them in a logical and methodical manner.
Correctly logging incidents and faults, categorizing and prioritizing them in line with team procedures.
Conducting full and thorough diagnostics with end users to enable first time fault resolution.
Ensuring all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA escalating to other internal and external teams as needed.
Managing faults through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively
Keeping the end-user informed of progress
Diagnosing and resolving problems to the end-users satisfaction
Maintain and develop own knowledge and skills to assist with first time fault resolution
Identify and escalate repeated issues or service risks into service management teams
Sharing knowledge with team colleagues
Skills & Experience
Provide excellent end-user support remotely via telephone and e-mail.
Administer and troubleshoot the following server issues :
Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 : Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Exchange Server 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365
VMWare ESX and / or Microsoft Hyper-V
Backup solutions and DR
Common Client / Server Applications including Office 365 suite
Administer and troubleshoot the following networking issues :
Firewalls and VPN
Routers / Switches
Internet-related problems (ie DNS)
Assist end-users in troubleshooting the following workstation, peripheral and mobile device issues :
Windows 7 / 10
Standard and proprietary applications
Desktop and laptop hardware
Printers, scanners, fax devices
Mobile devices (iPhone, Android)
Effectively troubleshoot and solve highly technical problems within a wide range of Company’s environments.
High level of responsibility for time management and issue prioritization.
Self-starter with the ability to identify and work issues within a ticketing queue while accurately documenting time spent for each case.
Completed training or studies in the field of Information Technology or proven comparable professional experience in similar role
Very good knowledge of English
Accomplished military services for male candidates
Certifications will be considered as a plus
