Pfizer’s Digital Solutions and Enablement (DSE) team develop, launch and support all externally facing digital (web, mobile, omni-channel, & device) products, platforms, services, and experiences, servicing all external customer types at Pfizer.
Opportunities exist in DSE across many disciplines including web, cloud, open source, mobile hybrid, mobile native, artificial intelligence and the electronic medical record (EMR) space.

As a Digital Solutions Developer you will be part of a development team working on digital experiences for one of our customer types : Patients and Caregivers, Healthcare Professionals, organized customers like Hospitals or Pharmacies, or internal Pfizer colleagues.
You will be a technical member of a scrum development or project team using appropriate methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid, etc.
to provide continuous delivery of digital experiences across our customer focused teams. You will work closely with the Product and Solution Lead, scrum master, project manager, lead engineer and other developers, client partners, vendors and others to accomplish the team’s and the organization’s goals.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality software and solutions. This requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to work independently with a focus on high quality deliverables and a strong sense of accountability .
The role also requires a strong desire for continuous learning to stay current with the rapidly evolving technology landscape and significant attention to detail and quality.
Develop, maintain and improve new and existing software solutionsCollaborate closely with other engineers and team leaders to become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional teamPerform stringent testing of code written, including designing and writing automated tests to allow for continuous deliveryDeliver high quality code and solutions with a strong sense of accountabilityClearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleaguesAct as mentor to more junior developers and perform tasks such as peer code reviews, providing feedback and corrections as necessaryHelp the team embrace agile core values, adopt and apply those principles, and implementation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM : BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and relevant technical experience with emphasis on software development and maintenance.
We are looking for a mix of front-end / back-end or full-stack developers / engineers. We will be looking for the ability to code with some of the following.
EITHER front-end experience with modern frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, Ionic, Node.js OR back end experience with frameworks such as PHP, Python, Laravel, Symfony OR candidates with a mix of the above
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience with Payers, Pharmacies or Hospitals and related systems and data typesExperience in the Pharma industryExperience with AWS and demonstrated understanding of cloud application architectures (We heavily leverage AWS and experience of its services and how to use them is a definite bonus)Experience in modern software development practices including distributed versioning systems, continuous integration / deployment, automated testing (DevOps)High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean techniques and methodologies (Disciplined Agile, SAFe, etc.
Line management experience in a global organization with demonstrated career development and coaching expertise, including performance management, succession planning and new hire planning
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily computer-based work.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Travel will be required as part of this role. Expectations around travel will vary but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to Pfizer World Headquarters.
