Resulting from growth in Pfizer's Digital and Technology space, we are seeking a Global Digital Innovation Lab Programme Manager.
This role will report to the Global Digital Innovation Lab Lead for International Markets. The Digital Innovation Lab is focused on identifying external partnerships with Digital Companies that can help us achieve our Bold Moves by accelerating drug discovery & development as well as improving health outcomes and patient experiences from our medicines.
Digital interventions can have an impact on health outcomes right across the patient journey from improving detection and diagnosis, addressing access and affordability challenges and supporting patients to manage their disease and adhere to therapies.
Working closely with the DIL leads to enable our client partners and business colleagues in the design, build and execution of robust digital innovation Proof of Concept (PoC) projects across multiple markets and therapy areas. Including;
Designing and leading planning workshops between Pfizer and our external partners
Clarity of the problem statement and the assumptions to test through the PoC project
Identification and understanding of the target customer / patient
Customer Engagement plan
Experiment milestones and KPIs for success
Documenting & communicating updates on experiment progress and outcomes within the Digital Innovation Lab
Manage the above country elements of contracting and requesting budget for experiments
Manage any above country cross functional teams such as Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Safety, Corp Affairs to deliver experiments on time, on budget
Capture experiment learnings and share with broader team preparing presentations to wider community on completion of the experiment
Identify areas of improvement throughout our process that helps us further accelerate partnerships and experiments
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 7+ years of related pharmaceutical or healthcare experience required with experience working in the design, build and execution of innovation experiments.
Good understanding of Healthcare system setup, reimbursement environments and HCP and patient behavior across markets and how digital products could be implemented within them.
Preferred specialist knowledge in Software Medical Device regulations, EHRs, and HCP workflows and systems to be able to spot challenges ahead and help mitigate them.
Executive presence - ability to gain credibility with all levels of management; skills to craft and deliver presentations to, and obtain agreement from, senior management on recommendations / ideas / proposals.
Experience leading the execution of novel digital experiments within a matrix organization across complex geographies driving business and patient impact.
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to identify the commercial viability of a project, identify assumptions and then plan how to test those assumptions to de-risk a project.
Stays abreast and incorporates industry and digital customer engagement trends into plans
Demonstrated strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in matrix complex working situations, influencing without authority
Able to manage and prioritisea large portfolio of innovation projects across multiple geographical areas including Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe as well as working with the US team.
