The Digital Manufacturing Team is responsible for the delivery of Pfizer’s Core Digital Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) capabilities at every level of the Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) Plant Network (ISA 95 Levels 0-4).

These solutions are critical to Manufacturing & Lab Execution, Manufacturing Process Intelligence and Production Optimization that aim to improve product quality, increase asset utilization / uptime, automate manual workflows, and streamline plant floor operations.

The Digital Manufacturing vision is to Simplify processes and experiences to drive PGS outcomes .

The Manufacturing 4.0 Team supports all of Pfizer’s Core Manufacturing & Engineering Solutions, while enabling a secure, seamless flow of contextualized data from the device & control levels, all the way to the top of the Enterprise.

The Senior Associate, Validation and Test Automation will play a key role in ensuring the Digital Manufacturing 4.0 agile teams are fully compliant with the Pfizer Agile Software Delivery lifecycle and own the end-to-end implementation of the lifecycle processes and change management.

The candidate will own the testing / validation strategy and lead the implementation of manual and automated test strategy and test execution for the solutions.

The candidate will work closely with the other validation and test automation SMEs to create a unified approach to validation and test automation across all the Digital Manufacturing 4.0 teams.

Role Responsibilities :

The Senior Associate, Validation and Test Automation colleague’s responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Ensure full adherence to Agile framework and the Software Development Lifecycle Management working closely with the Product owners, Scrum Masters and Development team

Co-own and conduct the Solution Risk profile assessments, Electronic Record and Electronic Signature (ERES), Data Integrity and Supplier Control Assessments for the M4.0 solutions.

Embed Quality & Compliance Controls into Agile Delivery model

Create and maintain Validation & Testing Strategy for the applications.

Responsible for Functional Testing, Database Verification Testing, Performance Testing, UAT Testing etc., to ensure the solution meets business needs.

Responsible for end-to-end testing and verification of the application with a focus on automated testing and TDD (Test Driven Development).

Responsible for developing and implementing the test automation framework using the Pfizer preferred testing tools

Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts including maintenance of automated Regression test suite

Find and track application defects during Testing Process and communicate to the Developers until resolved to release Defect free application to the End users.

Partner with and support the Business Users during the User Acceptance Testing and obtain business sign off for Production Release.

Create the Validation Deliverables such as Strategy Document, User and Functional Requirements, Test Protocol, Verification Summary Report etc.

during the formal Testing / Verification phase.

Facilitate the Change Control Process with Technical and QA Teams for the deployment of the application version upgrades into different Environments.

Perform the Installation Verification during the application deployment process in QA and Production Environments.

Support Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing

AC&D (Acquisitions, Collaborations & Divestitures) Support

Support Inspection Readiness and Regulatory Board(s) Audits, as required

Basic Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s Degree

3+ years of experience in the software testing.

Experience with Agile Software Delivery

Experience in Automated Testing and Data Intensive Testing (TOSCA, UFT, or Selenium or SQL etc.)

Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.

Must have strong analytical skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, self-directed, and a team player.

Strong experience in MS Office Products (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of the 21 CFR Part 11 and how they relate to validation of systems that support regulated processes for the pharmaceutical industry

Experience with Agile Software Delivery and / or Scrum Master Certification a plus.

Experience in HP ALM, qTest or any other test management tools

Experience in JIRA
