Ferryscanner is an online search and booking engine that helps people find affordable ferry tickets to exciting destinations all over the world.

As a Product Owner you will be a member of the agile team at Ferryscanner. You are responsible for the Product Roadmap from vision, strategic planning to actual implementation and day to day collaboration with all stakeholders.


  • Manage & maintain the product backlog. Prioritizes and groom the Backlog according to business value and ROI
  • Define project roadmap & user stories to communicate the requirements and product goals
  • Ensure company strategic goals are translated into the product roadmap
  • Manage all product releases, throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality and results
  • Monitor performance of implemented features
  • Set and monitor product and project KPIs and metrics
  • Gather, analyze and prioritize user or stakeholder needs
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and remove impediments
  • Communicates with all departments involved in the implementation to ensure synchronization and transparency
  • Negotiate with stakeholders on a quarterly basis to define product goals and roadmaps
  • Collaborates with design team on mockups
  • Support the team and organization by using agile / scrum best practices and promote agile values
  • Participate in all scrum events
  • Lead, motivate and provide vision to the product development team
  • Set team objectives and ensure they are met
  • Job requirements

    Required qualifications, skills & knowledge

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or related position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area required
  • Excellent knowledge of web technologies and good technical understanding
  • Domain knowledge, able to understand what is being built. Be a business advocate!
  • Strong analytical skills and focus on data and KPIs
  • Excellent command of English
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum will be considered an asset
  • UX / UI knowledge would be considered a plus
