Positions work at our afterschool program sites located OFF THE Ohio University Campus. You will be required to provide your own transportation.
These sites include : Amesville Elementary in Amesville, Ohio (Shifts are 3 : 45 pm to 6 : 30 pm)Alexander Jr. High / High School in Albany, Ohio (Shifts are 2 : 30 pm to 6 : 00 pm)Coolville Elementary in Coolville, Ohio (Shifts are 3 : 45 pm to 6 : 15 pm)Federal Hocking Secondary School in Stewart, Ohio (Shifts are 2 : 45 pm to 5 : 15 pm)Millcreek Elementary in Corning, Ohio (Shifts are 3 : 15 pm to 5 : 30 pm)Miller High School in Corning, Ohio (Shifts are 2 : 15 pm to 5 : 30 pm)The Plains Elementary in The Plains, Ohio (Shifts are 3 : 15 pm to 6 : 30 pm)
Come have fun and work with some amazing kids! Afterschool Team Leaders perform a variety of program activities, including : 1.
Help deliver engaging, hands-on enrichment activities to children and teenagers in the afterschool programs.2. Assist children with academic work.
3. Monitor children’s progress toward stated goals under the direction of supervisor.4. Provide a safe and productive environment in which children can learn and grow.
Successful applicants will be expected to provide their own transportation to and from job site, which is located OFF CAMPUS.

Must be currently enrolled at Ohio University or other university.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to work at least two shifts per week (Monday through Friday), although more availability is preferred.
Cover letter must indicate which locations applicant is willing to work at (see Special Instructions to Applicants)
Successful applicants will be required to pass : 1. A physical exam provided by their doctor, and2. A BCI and FBI background check.
Both of these requirements are to be completed at the applicant’s expense.
Experience working with children.
Hours vary by site, but are usually 2.5 to 3 hour shifts, between 2 : 00 pm and 7 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday.Anticipated site specific hours are : Amesville Elementary (20 minute commute from campus) : 3 : 45 pm to 6 : 30 PM, Monday FridayAlexander Jr.
High, High School (10 minute commute from campus) : 2 : 15 pm 6 : 00 pm, Monday Thursday.Coolville Elementary (30 minute commute from campus) : 3 : 45 pm to 6 : 15 pm, Monday FridayFederal Hocking Secondary School (20 minute commute from campus) : 2 : 45 pm to 5 : 45 pm, Monday FridayMillcreek Elementary School (50 minute commute from campus) : 3 : 15 to 5 : 45 pm, Monday Thursday due to extended commute, employees may be paid for travel time.
Miller High School (50 minute commute from campus) : 2 : 15 to 5 : 45 pm, Monday Thursday due to extended commute, employees may be paid for travel time.
The Plains Elementary School (5 minute commute from campus) : 3 : 15 pm to 6 : 45 pm, Monday Friday.
