Who you are :
An ambitious Data Scientist who can bring solutions to the biggest problems. You’ll play a pivotal part of the Data Science team by :
Mathematically model complex, stochastic physical phenomena and noise associated with emotion responses captured by the Feel wristband
Develop new and improve existing signal processing algorithms for Feel anomaly detection and correction
Performing bio-signal processing including advanced filtering, segmentation, data fusion, and feature extraction
4-6 years of work experience in a relevant job position with strong mathematical / engineering background
Professional or research based experience in machine learning, signal processing, and / or biomedical engineering
Experience in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and signal processing (i.e. digital filtering, spectral analysis, multi-
dimensional random processes)
Expertise using variety of classical and modern methods of statistical inference and learning (i.e. regression, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, classification, Markov-
modeling, clustering) for solving practical problems
Proficiency in analysis packages (e.g. Matlab), programming languages (e.g. Python) as well as the ability to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot in cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
Good understanding of data privacy and security principles
MSc or Ph.D. from a top university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or related fields
Positive energy and can do mentality
It would be a bonus if you have :
Familiarity working in Amazon AWS environment
Experience of working in a startup
Good knowledge of English language
