The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing and building the TAP natural gas pipeline.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
The Indirects Procurement Manager reports to the Head of Procurements and Contracts. The role will be responsible for indirect procurement throughout TAP in Greece, Italy, Albania and Switzerland and will be based in Athens.
The role also supervises a Procurement Specialist to support the TAP business with best practice for Indirect Procurement.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Leads assigned categories on a group level
Responsible for indirect procurement strategy implementation
Defines category strategies and conducts supply market analysis and supplier portfolio management
Aligns category strategies with demand owners and stakeholders
Delegates implementation of category strategies to relevant team member(s)
Accountable for compliant execution of procurement in accordance with One Procurement process
Responsible for 3rd party spend transparency of his / her categories
Procurement representative at management level for both internal and external stakeholders
Supervision of procurement processes conducted by (Senior) Procurement Specialists
Disciplinary leadership of the Indirect Procurement team
Manages, optimises the categories according to the procurement strategy
Responsible for Supply Market Analysis in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
Responsible for Demand and Category Management within indirects
Enforces compliance with One Procurement throughout TAP
At least 10 years’ experience in Indirect Procurement and wider Procurement
Procurement experience within a project will be an asset
SAP S / 4 HANA knowledge will be an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Team Lead experience in a collaborative manner
