Key Responsibilities :
Technical software testing :
Performing 1st level analysis of bugs and issues spotted in a continuous integration environment as well as found internally / externally (reproduce, compare to existing / known bugs / problems, analyze the circumstances / testing conditions, provide any needed additional information, reassign to the appropriate team, etc.)
Performing manual tests (acceptance criteria, functional, regression, sanity, exploratory, etc.) with TV and set-top-box prototypes
Performing an initial assessment of the new device and its capabilities
Handling and maintaining our TV and set-top-box device prototypes (unpacking, labeling, tracking, verifying installation / flashing instructions, maintaining wiki page, upgrading firmware)
Technical quality assurance :
Creating new test plans and tests cases and modifying existing ones
Analyzing and understanding quality specifications released by TV certification bodies
Constantly communicate with our customers directly to ensure understanding of customer-reporting bugs
What you bring :
Solid and practical knowledge of Linux
Ideally 2+ years of testing experience
Experience and love of working with hardware / devices, like consoles, set-top boxes, mobiles, or other hardware
Good communication skills we are an international and diverse company
English good working knowledge, both written and spoken
Has an engineer mind and is proactivity also self-driven we believe our engineers know the best
Experience with working in JIRA (or any other BTS), Slack, etc.
Patience in doing manual tests, maintaining test reports
Experience in customer support
The recruitment process consists of two steps :
45-minute technical interview with one of our QA engineers
2h interview about your motivation and professional experiences. You will also deal with technical problems that we face daily
