Description
WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for a Python Backend software engineer that will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of RESTful APIs and web services, along with maintaining and improving our existing services.
Requirements
Educational requirements :
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communications Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent
Essential technical skills :
In-depth knowledge of Python programming language and Django framework
Experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Knowledge of RESTful API design principles
Nice to have :
Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with Development in cloud (or Virtual) environments, such as AWS.
Familiarity with Docker
Object-Relational mapping tools
Experience in non-relational databases (MongoDB)
Familiarity with JIRA / Confluence
Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins)
Other qualifications
Fluent in English
Communicational skills and team working attitude
