Role Summary

Pfizer has established a chief digital office which will lead the transformation of Pfizer into a digital powerhouse that will generate patient superior patient experiences that will result in better health outcomes.

The Analytic Tools and Platforms team, which is part ofAdvanced Analytics, Platforms & Data, Learning & Developmentwithin the Chief Digital Office is responsible for the development and management of all data and analytic tools and platforms across the enterprise from scientific / clinical to commercial and for all Pfizer countries.

In this role, we are looking for frontrunners to drive quality operations andsustainable support for advanced analytics tools, platforms, framework and methodologies across Pfizer.

You may have a software development background, or an engineering background or you were raised in a modern data analytics culture from the start of your career.

You will have the ability to work with technology vendors, support resources, delivery partners, Pfizer stakeholders, etc.

and apply emerging and traditional technologies for analytics improvements in support of identifying rapid insights for Pfizer enterprise strategy development and operations management.

Role Responsibilities

Act as the capability lead and product owner for Data Visualization enablement, serving a diverse array of internal customers ranging from advanced data scientists to novice business users across departments globally

  • Provide direction and support to advance the development of new visualization capabilities and innovation of existing capabilities on the visual display, analysis, and consumption data to foster insights
  • Oversee agile service delivery, support and sustaining engineering for Data Visualization tools and capabilities
  • Oversee the operations of multiple Tableau environments globally and supporting dozens of site administrators
  • Promote the adoption and enablement of data visualization tool use for insights generation
  • Financial and license management for data visualization tools and environment(s) including budgeting, internal charges, planning and estimations
  • Measure and monitor service and support performance and health (SLAs, KPIs, etc.)
  • Perform maintenance activities to ensure high availability
  • Maintain key informational content and Communities of Practice to champion a strong user community
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams on production release requirements, scaling and productionalizing services and capabilities and overall lifecycle management
  • Oversee change governance and continuous improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal engineering teams on evaluating new technologies, supportability and maintain operational roadmap
  • Develop and maintain operational run-books and training curricula for support teams
  • Directly engage and communicate with key business and technical stakeholders (Director level and above)
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • At least 7 years of professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience and proficiency with Tableau and its components
  • At least 5 years of experience with BI and data visualization development
  • Data science experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency with DevOps and information tools e.g.,JIRA, Confluence,Zendesk, SharePoint, Yammer, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of executive level presentations and ability to effectively communicate to multiple audiences and partners
  • Deep interest and enthusiasm for transformative data visualization and insight generation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment
