about the role

Acts as a trusted advisor on all procurement matters related to Telco products and services.

Leads end to end sourcing activity for Telco & Infrastructure products and services in a specific geography

Makes sure that innovation, continuous improvement and value are provided by Telco suppliers

Collaborates with suppliers to ensure there are good working relationships.

Achieving savings, cost avoidance and other benefits to the business

Runs and implements the sourcing process in compliance with the "7 Steps" methodology for

the scope he is responsible for :

  • Leads actively the collection of internal stakeholders requirements;
  • Develops sourcing strategies based on market knowledge and OBS needs

    Conducts commercial negotiations with suppliers (pricing, commercial clauses of

  • contracts,...);
  • Selects suppliers and presents Sourcing Recommendations;
  • Supports Customer project buyers (according to engagement model)

    Brings his / her expertise of Telco into the customer project negotiation

  • to deliver additional cost optimization / savings;
  • Negotiates customer specific contract and conditions with Telco suppliers

    Manages relationship with one or more Telco suppliers (supplier owner)

    Set up regular business reviews, follows supplier business inside and outside

    Orange, tracks supplier's performance

    Acts as a single point of contact to the supplier for commercial issues related to

    his / her commodities

    Participates actively in market & supplier performance monitoring

    Contributes to Partnership activity wherever Supplier's governance is managed

    by the Partnership Entity

    Commercially managing and delivering BAU activity such as supplier and contract reviews / renewals

    Experience in developing and implementing category plans / strategy

    Experience of and good knowledge of telecommunication and IT technologies

    Able to lead commercial negotiations and manage not only internal stakeholder relationships but

    suppliers as well

    Lead demand-based RFPs & RFQs and support countries during implementation phases.
