Pfizer’s Enabling Functions Hubs serve to bring internal professional services such as Finance, HR, Digital, and Sourcing together into a consolidated and simplified shared services structure.

Colleagues in the Enabling Functions Hubs execute end-to-end operational activities that can be standardized and scaled for greater enterprise synergies and effectiveness.

The work managed from these hubs will evolve and expand over time as Enabling Functions continue to evaluate their go-forward delivery model.

  • Pfizer operates Enabling Functions Hubs in six strategic locations : Memphis, Tennessee, USA; Tampa, Florida, USA; San Jose, Costa Rica;
  • Dublin, Ireland; Thessaloniki, Greece; and Dalian, China.

    This role is part of the HR Core Services group responsible for designing, executing and administrating HR global processes related to the full employee lifecycle excluding recruitment.

    Additionally, the HR Core Services group is accountable for the delivery of HR Core services provided by IBM, our business process outsourcer.

    Pfizer’s Colleague / HR Shared Services GBS (Global Business Services) team is comprised of dedicated, solution oriented and agile colleagues who think big and challenge the status quo.

    In this position, you are responsible for executing flawlessly HR operational tasks while following documented global, regional and country-specific processes and procedures specially for countries located in the European region, Africa and the Middle East, making work easier and faster, so we can deliver breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.

    What you will achieve

    Execute flawlessly a variety of HR operational tasks including HR reporting, administering compensation & benefits, processing data corrections and pay impacting transactions in our Human Resources Information Systems) following documented regional, global and country-specific processes and procedures while delivering a positive employee experience

    Provide real-time support for escalated inquiries / transactions via case management tool

    Liaise with other HR, Digital and Payroll colleagues to seek guidance and / or input that will help in timely resolution of inquiries driving a positive colleague experience

    Provide feedback on procedures with a continuous improvement mindset

    Must Have

    Bachelor of Administration or Human Resources or related field

    At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a HR Shared Services / HR Operations / centralized customer service environment

    Organizes own work to meet project task deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Proven ability to follow process with high attention to detail and adjusts to constantly changing priorities

    Strong customer focus mindset and cross-cultural agility

    Experience working with a case management tool

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese language required. Secondary language of Spanish or Italian preferred.

    Nice to have

    Experience working with Workday or comparable Human Capital Management system and MS Office (Excel & Word) preferred

    Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
