The Role
Design and develop integrated circuits and / or integrated circuit building blocks to meet functional and performance specifications.
Contribute to chip verification at top-level
Participate in feasibility studies.
Support DFT strategy and implementation
Support Test Engineering in production ramp-up by vector development, verification and failure analysis
Steers make / buy decisions, develop in-house only if no more efficient solution is available externally
Perform evaluation and characterization measurements
Participate and consult in design reviews
Support HW / SW development for evaluation, characterization and testing
Document all development / design issues
Schedule tasks and report progress to project leader
Act as a lead engineer in medium projects
Guide junior engineers
Take ownership of maintenance and support for assigned blocks, and tools appointed to you as Expert User
Support Customer Service on digital related issues in customer returns ( RMA s)
What we are looking for
4-7 years of relevant working experience in digital design
Knowledge of (System)Verilog / VHDL / scripting languages / C
Experienced in development and verification of systems featuring microprocessor(s)
Fully competent in all aspects of digital design, seeks technical guidance for unusual problems
Experienced with Cadence Incisive or Xcelium
Applies advanced methods to complex problems and demonstrates understanding of interfaces with other disciplines
Ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions
Highly proficient in English language, written and spoken
Good interpersonal communication skills and customer focus
Ability to convince others based on technical knowledge and shows assertiveness to inform superiors / peers
Team player with a positive attitude who drives, develops and tutors colleagues within own discipline
Proactive and independent attitude in solving problems and supporting RMAs
Ability to set and meet goals and deadlines for self and others

Familiar with event driven modelling of analog circuitry
