Our team is looking for a 2nd Level Application Support Engineer who will join us & provide 2nd Level Support to our Customers on production systems.
As our new colleague, in this role, you will be responsible for the UAT (User Acceptance Test) environment preparation, either onsite or remotely.
You will also need to assure the maximum level of support on incident resolution, provide feedback on escalations and comply with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Last, but not least., you will design, document and create the tools that will assist in troubleshooting!
More specifically, you will undertake tasks, such as :
Track the status of open production issues at 2nd level and ensure their timely resolution
Timely create a Problem when an incident’s root cause is not identified
Perform advanced troubleshooting for production incidents / problems
Having the ownership, monitoring & tracking of problems! In case recurrent issues come up, you will need to engage in process improvement activities
In this role, you will also need to reproduce incidents and verify their fix, by performing regression tests
Participate in the root cause analysis of problems. You will break down any outages or quality issues to root causes and prevent recurrences!

Requirements
To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria :
You hold a University or College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant technology-related field
A proven working experience of 1 2 years in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA or DEVOPS
Adequate system administration knowledge of Linux Platforms (Windows will also be appreciated!)
Good experience in MySQL, knowledge of Oracle or Mongo DB
In case you also have experience in automation testing and scripting languages, it will be valued!
You are familiar with the application Monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana and NewRelic
Strong command of the Greek & English languages, both written and spoken
Completed military obligations for male candidates
