Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer System-i to join our growing team. The main responsibilities are of the role are analyzing and supporting iSeries software applications, developed in bank’s ecosystem.

Requirements

Educational requirements :

BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information and Communications Technologies, Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent

Required experience in :

Executing PoCs and forming solution design / estimate for System i (AS / 400) platform

Excellent knowledge of AS / 400 products (RPG, COBOL / 400, SYNON etc.), DB2 Database, SQL

Knowledge of tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar

Understanding of quality assurance and having the ability to create and execute formal test plans.

Experience in the banking sector will be considered as a plus

Other qualifications :

Excellent communication (written / verbal) skills.

English language preferably C2 (CPE / Proficiency), at least FCE

The person must be able to work as part of a team and cooperate with other departments, remote users, and vendors to execute a planned implementation.

Ability to work based on a certain timeplan and methodology

Analytical thinking and a can-do attitude are essential.

Ability to work in an agile environment.
