The Position
Senior Financial Consolidation Specialist
Role overview :
Assist the financial interlocutors in the consolidation process; Carry out cross functional work at Group level.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Ensure entities complete their submissions accurately and on time
Ensure that the consolidated accounts of the entities in scope are compliant with the standards, the laws and the operational needs
Ensure the procedures are followed and that they are correctly understood by the interlocutors
Record most sophisticated consolidation transactions
Support Business in case of M&A or divestiture
Train package owners to become always more autonomous
Set solutions to Improve process, timeline and reliability of Consolidated data. Drive their implementation (FIM projects, etc.)
Conduct some specific analysis for the cluster and / or for IMERYS Group
Qualifications& Experience
Graduated in accounting or finance
Good knowledge of Consolidation and IFRS accounting rules
Strong analytical skills, with high proficiency in Google suite applications and Microsoft Excel. Additionally be highly proficient in the use of consolidation software BFC - Magnitude and accounting software SAP, other financial software's and databases is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
