What will you do :
Resolve incidents, problems affecting the operations / availability of high-profile production Database systems in private and public cloud / Azure.
Work with large SQL Server Databases, database optimization, database development and maintenance
Provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of production and development SQL Server instances running on Windows Server in Azure cloud and on-premises datacenter
Work as part of a technical support team (L2, L3) delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software product in a follow-the-sun support model.
Focus on automation to support database operational tasks and processes
Define and document processes and procedures related to deployment, migration, and general maintenance
What do we expect from you :
3+ years of experience in administration of Database platform
Good English communication skills (written and oral).
Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases on administration level and willingness to learn other database systems like Sybase ASE, Oracle, MySQL.
Knowledge of Azure PaaS databases will be an advantage
Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to work within a team and in co-operation with other teams and third parties
DBA and Azure Certification will be an advantage
Experience on similar position within multinational company will be an advantage
Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Team player with the ability to build relationships with multiple team
