The Pfizer Digital Safety Creation Center (SCC) is responsible for delivering transformational Digital capabilities and Solutions to Worldwide Safety (WWS) through its thought leadership, program management and technology expertise.

SCC maintains the highest level of quality, compliance and inspection readiness while streamlining operations, optimizing process, and realizing strategic benefit from Digital investment.

How you will contribute

This Senior Associate role, utilizing knowledge / understanding of the principles and concepts of the project management discipline, will support activities within Safety Creation Center related to the successful design, development, verification and delivery of projects / systems in collaboration with Digital Client Partners, Digital architecture team, Global Product Development (GPD) Information Management (IM), WWS and Digital compliance.

As an individual contributor, this role will :

Participate in Safety Creation Center project implementations in alignment with all Pfizer policies, procedures, and Digital Solutions Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.

Collaborate across enterprise Digital functions to identify and improve systems, processes and services to meet service levels and business continuity needs to maintain the highest levels of quality, inspections and audit readiness.

Support in budget / time estimates for new project demand

Collaborate in managing vendor resources associated to the project

Provide periodic status updates and dashboards for ongoing projects

Participate in the activities within Safety Creation Center and contribute with fresh and innovative ideas


Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience as an information technology professional in one or many roles such as Application Developer / Support, Project Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Database Administrator, Computer or Process engineer.

Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office 365 tools and applications.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and effectively execute tasks and projects.

Curiosity and willingness to learn, and ability to quickly develop new technical and functional competencies.

Ability to work as a member of a team, earning the trust both of customers and teammates.

Ability to adapt to new work assignments, flexibility, and willingness to work with a global team across regions and time zones.


Master’s degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field.

Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, CSM, CPO, ITIL).

Hands on experience or training on Agile Methodologies and Tools.

Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.

Prior experience working in a regulated / validated environment and delivering compliant, validated systems.

Strong organization and critical thinking skills.

Knowledge or prior experience in one or more of the following : Oracle Database Development (PL / SQL), AWS, AI tools, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.

Prior experience interpreting business requirements into technical specifications for delivery of Digital Solutions.
