We are seeking for a Leadership Trainer, who will be responsible for designing and delivering a Leadership training landscape that helps shape the future ready leaders Vodafone needs to meet its strategic vision.
Using the latest methodologies in learning and promoting a mindset of life-long-learning, the Leadership Trainer is creating meaningful connections with our leaders in all the different hierarchical levels.
Building the necessary skills for a hybrid future, with new ways of working. Evaluating and relentlessly improving the leadership initiatives we offer to our leaders in order to achieve the best results.
Being on a constant exchange with the Vodafone Group for sharing know-how and best practices on the area of Leadership Development.
Key accountabilities and ownership :
Designs and coordinates local execution of Vodafone’s Leadership Development landscape
Ensures relentless execution of existing and new Leadership training
Monitors new trends, distils insights and finds innovative and effective new ways to bring these insights to the Leadership community
Collaborates closely with Learning team, Talent team and HR BPs, as well analyses business strategy and proposes training interventions for the leadership audiences when needed
Supports the agile transformation and any other operating model transformation by designing and delivering fitting training to the leadership audience
Supports up- / re-skilling and youth initiatives if there is a need for related skill development to these audiences (e.g. Feedback training)
Introduces innovative leadership initiatives and best-in-class programmes, as per business priorities and global HR trends
Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, driving change through measuring, reporting and enhancing the effectiveness of Leadership Development programmes
Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with key partners within all areas of responsibility through identifying internal customers’ needs and proposing suitable learning interventions
Drives and maintains the engagement of the leadership community
Ensures all methods of delivery are effective, develop competence, change or embed behaviour, and deliver a return on investment.
Builds competence in HR colleagues to enable them effectively support leadership and management development using facilitation and coaching skills
Skills & competencies :
Pragmatic growth mindset with project management skills, which focuses on continuous delivery and produces tangible value
Strong relationship and stakeholder management, and communication skills, ability to engage target audiences
Good business acumen with the ability to identify leadership training needs to drive business strategy and help achieve targets
Imagination and creativity to design and put in action innovative leadership initiatives
Familiarity with new and interactive platforms
Content development skills
Effective partnering skills with several stakeholders, co-working with different teams
Critical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills
Must have professional qualifications :
3-5 years of experience as a Leadership Trainer, from collecting the need, to designing, delivering and evaluating trainings to all different hierarchical levels
Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices
Experience of developing competence using a variety of different methods (virtual as well as face-to-face)
Experience with delivery of diversity and inclusion training is an asset
Systematic coaching certification, or similar, will be an asset
Experience in agile methodology and environment will be an asset
