Responsibilities : Project Management

Project Management

  • Responsible for the implementation of significant new business wins into the business environment whilst working closely with different stakeholders to achieve a seamless transfer of ownership
  • Establish and evaluate the success criteria for the project and adjust solutions and timelines as needed throughout the implementation
  • Alignment between customer expectation and operational delivery, management of internal and external stakeholders expectations if required
  • Ensure that staff at origin and at destination understand SOP’s and processes, and can deliver the agreed services
  • Define, set-up and manage project teams for the execution of assigned projects.
  • Execute Implementation projects through use of applicable Implementation methodology
  • Successfully close implementations based on mutually defined criteria between Maersk and the Customer (external) and Implementation and Customer Service (internal).
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with global key customers at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
  • Lead the customer through the on-boarding process and act as the customers’ center of gravity on implementations and issue resolution.
  • Strictly manage scope with customers and ensure solution implemented stays in line with the solution sold.
  • Hold regular customer meetings to discuss progress, issues, mitigations to risks, and introduce development opportunities.
  • Customer Service Engagement

  • Ensure that clearly defined process documentation is produced to support implementation plans and is shared with relevant operational / management personnel
  • Drive the various teams in the organization to ensure all key deliverables are being met in line with go-live schedule :
  • Manage the hyper care period after go-live to ensure KPI / SLA is being met and initial SOP / IOP compliance across all origin and destination offices.
  • Commercial Engagement

  • Assist and support Strategic Sales with business development projects where necessary, including presentations with customers
  • Implementation Community

  • Provide guidance and input to country implementation teams.
  • Liaise with other regional and Centre implementation teams.
  • Provide input and guidance on the implementation of new customers when required.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer centric role
  • Previous experience in Logistics field is a huge asset
  • Excellent English language is a must
