Provider & Site Solutions Projects Lead, EMEA
Location : Flexible (Portugal / Greece / UK)
Reporting to the Associate Director Provider & Site Solutions Bid and Delivery, Real World and Commercial Solutions (RW&CS) to provide project leadership to regionally led projects for the Provider and Site Solutions (P&SS) organization.
This role is pivotal in establishing a regional delivery capability for our growing Payer, Provider & Government (PPG) business to both support shaping of proposals from a project delivery standpoint as well as then to ensure the effective delivery of projects or programmes.
The role will also provide guidance as needed to country delivery teams as part of the regional P&SS team leading best practice and know-how sharing.
Principal Accountabilities :
Working with the Provider & Site Solutions Bid and Delivery Team and wider IQVIA ecosystem, ensure that the project delivery plan of proposals is robust and set up for effective delivery for clients as well as for internal IQVIA
For regionally led project deliveries, ensure projects are delivered to meet client requirements and satisfaction; also ensure internal IQVIA Delivery Excellence is achieved
Working collaboratively with other groups (eg with the EMEA Project Management Practice) to create and communicate effectively Project Delivery Excellence best practice and knowledge sharing in the PPG / P&SS space with countries
Work effectively with each of the Leaders of the P&SS organization to understand the opportunity road map and ensure appropriate Delivery capacity is available
Lead or participate in bid defenses, customer meetings and on task forces as required.
Key part of Bid and Delivery Governance structures
Support the Strategy and Business Planning area in identifying more efficient and productive ways of delivering projects.
Routinely look for, and deliver on, opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
Prepare regular Delivery metrics across direct and indirect project deliveries across PPG / P&SS.
Provide advice, support and guidance as needed and serve as a mentor to colleagues.
Provide direction and strategy on projects and initiatives with minimal oversight.
May assist in the development and negotiation of change orders and driving the change order processes, to maximize profit on each contract and ensuring timely revenue recognition
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required :
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business Management, Engineering or related field and 8+ years experience in Project Management of Professional Services projects. Should also have :
Exemplary track record of delivering small, medium and large projects effectively across (but not exhaustively) budget, requirements, multiple stakeholders, team engagement & development, etc
Ideally would have formal Project Management certification
Experienced in delivering projects to Payer, Provider or Government clients
Experienced in Public Sector procurement and delivery expectations
Experience of European Union funded projects
Used to working effectively in a highly matrix and distributed organization across multiple geographies
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Excellent understanding of all aspects of project financial management
Excellent knowledge of contracts and management to contractual terms.
Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers
