Purpose of the Job
Management of Client Accounts : Administer the client payment cycle up to and including Final Account including the Project Change Account to maximize income and best possible cash flow position.
Issue Payment Certificate Requests both for JV (in case Alstom is leading) and Alstom needs towards the Customer.
Liaise with all stakeholders involved in order to collect and integrate feedback needed for Monthly Payment Certificates’ approval according to Client’s Requirements (e.
g. Quantity Surveying Charts, PPAE, PEFOPE, MIS e.t.c.)
Follow-up and check JV Costs and calculate JV members’ share. Collect elemental costs and measurement information.
Management of Sub-contractors’ Accounts : Proactively administer Sub-contractor accounts from project start up through to final account.
Accurately report sub-contract liabilities. Issue notices for sub-contract payments strictly in accordance with contractual and legal requirements.
Record Keeping : Establish contemporaneous records which are in compliance with project systems. Provide records which identify progress, contributing to event registers and entitlement documentation, so that timely actions can be completed.
Internal Reporting : Participate in the production of Monthly Project Reviews and Work Package Management Reviews if required
Financial Targets & Budgets : Contribute to the achievement of Project targets and budget in terms of Billing. Provide support which aligns with the commercial management strategy.
Personal Training & Development : Pursue own training and professional development goals and support others to achieve improved performance.

Graduate or Affiliate membership recognition by a Quantity Surveying institution, working towards a higher-level professional qualification and maintaining required professional logs / records.
Able to provide guidance on Quantification, costing of construction works and task elemental cost analysis.
Able to provide guidance on the determination of scope of work through the interpretation of the contract documents
Working knowledge of construction industry standard forms of contract and commercial terms.
Appreciation of conflict avoidance, management and dispute resolution procedures.
Working on Target Cost or Design and Construct contracts.
Appreciation of accounting concepts
Appreciation of Health, Safety and Sustainability matters relative to the industry.
Working knowledge of Planning and the use of programs in the management of construction works.
Experience working in contracting commercial department.
