About the role
The Commercial Finance Associate Manager (FP&A) is a highly visible role that combines elements of strategy and finance.
We’re looking for an analytical and highly motivated problem solver to join the team. This position offers unfiltered insights into how we make decisions and grow the business.
Within the Commercial Finance team, you are driving central tasks and projects. You will work closely with the leadership team to monitor and steer the LatAm operational business :
Supporting the team in managing key Commercial Finance processes such as forecasting and budgeting
Monitoring and reporting on the actual performance in comparison with budget / forecast on a weekly and monthly basis
Preparing the central reporting on our financial performance
Conducting cross country and other ad hoc analyses to understand and benchmark the performance and positioning of the five markets we operate in
Setting up efficient processes that allow to hold key stakeholders accountable for the financial impact of their actions and decisions
You optimize our internal tools and processes :
Managing a project to harmonize financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) across all countries
Building standardized financial models (in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets) for strategic projects as well as financial steering
Further exploiting and developing the existing commercial and financial data sets (in Tableau, Tagetik and SAP) for reporting and steering purposes
You’ll take an active role in shaping the positioning of the Commercial Finance team within the organization :
Participating in and maintaining the strong network to other functions within the headquarter and within the local markets
Taking part in further development of our existing tool kit for steering the business
Taking ownership for transversal projects with internal stakeholders
Outstanding academic track-record inFinance or related field and an advanced financial education such as ACCA, CFA, CIMA
At least 4 years of professional experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Strong interest in complex financial modelling combining Excel manipulations and business orientation
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, additional language skills are a plus
Having additional experience from working in a fast-moving startup culture is advantageous
Intuitive understanding of what drives a business model in a given market and the ability to validate this using financial and commercial data
You are analytical, result-oriented, passionate about numbers and have an eye for detail
Strong financial, analytical and business modelling skills.
Excel at expert level
You’re eager to deep dive into the root of a specific issue in order to get a detailed understanding of the matter and explore potential solutions
Hands-on, adaptable & able to build up programs and processes from scratch
You have outstanding organizational skills and you are capable of leading multiple processes in a structured way
You feel comfortable working collaboratively with many other stakeholders from different departments, challenging them on their positions and defend your interests and thoughts and commit to the final decisions
You quickly adapt to new situations and bring natural curiosity to understand market specific challenges and potential solutions
Team player who is comfortable working in cross-cultural teams
