The Job The job as Product Manager for Chronic and Acute Hemodialysis Therapies at Baxter is a great opportunity to develop your professional career in our Marketing area.

You will be responsible to develop, implement and be accountable for short to medium term marketing and operational plans, for chronic and acute hemodialysis (HD) products in Greece.

To meet agreed profit, revenue and market share objectives in the short and medium term. The position is based in Athens Greece and will report to Head of Marketing.

You will also be responsable :

  • For achievement of revenue and profit targets and control of relevant promotional budgets.
  • To roll out Medical marketing campaigns, as appropriate per marketing plan, aligned with Global / EMEA strategy and create local adaptation of Global / EMEA marketing materials or to create local promotional material.
  • Ensure training and understanding at sales force level.
  • In cooperation with Sales representatives and Therapy Specialists : To arrange and perform training sessions for Health Care Professionals (HCP), related to chronic and acute hemodialysis therapies.
  • To keep updated files for competitor’s marketing activities and claims.
  • To provide HCPs with scientific literature.
  • To identify and communicate key clinical papers and evidence to support the brand core claims.
  • To monitor trends in disease management and market environment which are likely to affect the performance and potential of HD products.
  • Manage / create local evidence when needed based on market research, surveys and scientific documentation.
  • To communicate effectively within the organization (inter- & intradepartmental) to ensure achievement of country’s objectives.
  • To act as liaison with local medical team in all cases medical support is needed.
  • Be the recognized 'Product Champion' by developing and continuously updating knowledge of renal therapy, product and market.
  • Monitor and take corrective action for major deviations on plans, strategies, budget management and efficient use of resources.
  • Effectively segment key markets and recommend positioning tactics

  • Implement strategies to maximize pricing, profitability and product mix opportunities Encourage cross-functional input to the planning process.
  • Assist Baxter multifunctional team in dialysis reimbursement related issues.
  • Able to develop detailed analysis of market dynamics and apply the obvious outcome to the operational plan
  • Has an advanced understanding of customer needs i.e. proactively uncovers unmet needs
  • Develops stakeholder map and plan of action to influence guidelines (as appropriate).
  • Responsible for all the processes required in order to be in compliance with Global Interaction Policy and local legislation.
  • Able to construct agency briefing documents in line with brand plans and projects, that ensure total clarity of objectives, focus, messages and tone for all agency staff
  • Assist in preparation of budget and forecasts.Do you want to learn more about our business? ?
  • Who you are

  • University graduate with 4 to 5 years of experience in Product Management and / or Sales
  • Master’s degree preferred (Health Sciences, Business, Marketing)
  • Working experience in dialysis products will be regarded as an additional asset

  • Able to analyze, challenge and see true customer insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Able to apply knowledge and understanding of the political and country respective Health system / service environment to the operational plan.
  • Proposes and implements actions to move toward defined treatment goals for the brand / disease.
  • Mother tongue : Excellent (Spoken, Written, Read)
  • English : Fluent (Spoken, Written, Read)
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook : Basic knowledge required
