We have a fantastic opportunity for confident and professional flotilla coordinator’s to work in the Mediterranean for the upcoming summer.
Our flotilla holidays provide the perfect balance between sociable sailing and unobtrusive support. Working within our flotilla team really allows you to be part of our customer’s holiday;
you will ensure the successful running of an exciting and organised itinerary exploring beautiful and exciting destinations.
From daily briefings to punch parties and regattas; flotillas really bring new friends together.
Our roles are based in Greece and Croatia, and could be based on a one-week or two-week flotilla route. Full and high season roles are available and following successful summer placements;
winter opportunities may become available.
Main duties will centre around the yachts, the base and ports of call. Working hours vary and you MUST be able to cover operational requirements.
You may at times be required to assist with other flotillas or base duties.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
Welfare of the children’s safety and health, and the organisation of activities
Fitting of kids lifejackets and harnesses
Kids first morning safety briefing and daily briefings on route when necessary
Yacht preparation and organisation of kids packs on turnaround day
Creating sailing related activities for the children, including shorebased games in ports
Keeping suitable toys and games on the lead yacht and preparing treasure hunts, quizzes and activities in advance
Making and buying prizes for kids prizegiving at the end of each flotilla
Socialising with all guests
Organising group meals, BBQs, punch parties and other events, with special arrangements for children
Helping with the general running of the flotilla, especially general guest enquiries
Completing turnaround, assisting the skipper, technician and host
Cleanliness & good presentation of lead boat at all times
Any other duties as directed by the Base Manager
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
Valid first aid certificate
Yacht sailing experience (RYA Day Skipper / Competent Crew desired)
Experience working with children between 517 years old
Experience in a customer focused environment
Experience organising activities for groups of children
Responsible and patient demeanour
A strong team player
Fun, enthusiastic personality
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING
