On behalf of our client, a leading provider of Financial Management Software Solutions & Services, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join their established product team in Athens.
You will be a member of the Product team and your responsibility will be to ensure that the company delivers strong and reliable solutions to its clients.
You will have a background and experience on various Software Engineering Models and Methods and you will manage interesting and challenging projects and share experience in order to scale up company’s delivery capability and modernize software delivery methodologies.
Working with internal teams to drive speedy and process compliant solutions
Plan resource allocation and project priorities in cooperation with related teams
Manage software delivery streams for internal and customer projects
Research and evaluate software technology options and weigh the cost / benefit analysis
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
Report Status and Progress to upper management through specific Project Portfolio Management tools
Cooperate with other organization’s sectors e.g. Marketing / Sales department to promote the end product to market
Ensuring the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
BSc or Master's degree in Computer Science or a ny other relevant field
Minimum 3+ years proven working experience in technical project management roles backed up with previous background in IT oriented roles (development, QA)
Vast experience in software house principles and procedures
Experienced on Software Engineering Models and Methods (SDLC- Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Scrum)
Knowledge of DevOps Tools and processes will be considered as a plus
Experience in banking sector will be considered as a plus
Experience in working in cross-functional, multinational teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent time management, organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines for technical project team; and
Excellent knowledge of the English language both verbal and written
Familiar with Project Management tools (MS Project, TFS, BPM )
Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Excellent problem solving, presentation and prioritization skills
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising project teams
Able to work as part of a team dedicated to delivering quality results
