a Hotel Management Company in Greece, is currently seeking for a dynamic and experienced Front Office Agent to join company’s new, prestigious 5* hotel located in the center of Athens.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure hotel guests are properly greeted and welcomed upon their arrival.
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
Manage online and phone reservations.
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Tourism studies or related.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Front Office Agent in a 5* hotel.
Computer literate and knowledge of Hospitality PMS software Opera.
Fluent in Greek and English languages, both written and verbal. A third language is considered a plus.
Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills; must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with hotel guest’s and colleagues.
