General Position Description :
Monitors campus transportation activities and compliance with established policies. Responsible for, business transportation, campus transit service, safety and training, and facility and operations maintenance.
General Job Responsibilities :
Provides transportation for passengers, and assists with handling of equipment and / or luggage.
Transports materials and supplies.
Performs pre-trip inspections of vehicles.
Determines routes, maintains proper documentation, and prepares mileage, fuel, passenger, and related reports.
Services and maintains vehicles.
Operate, maintain, and safely drive Community Health Programs mobile health units to outreach sites within a multi-county region, complying with federal, state, and local laws.
Review and plan routes in advance of community outreach health clinics. Operate mobile unit in a safe manner which complies with federal, state, and local laws.
Ensure safety during events, including safe entry, parking, and exit of the mobile unit. Ensure completion of mobile health unit task checklist at all clinics and events.
Communicate with appropriate clinical staff via e-mail to share information related to clinic schedules and travel.
Perform daily setup of Community Health Programs mobile health units at scheduled locations. This includes setup of the truck, cleaning, emptying trash and biohazard waste, restocking and ordering of program supplies, AED safety check, filling water tanks, and emptying septic tanks.
Monitor parking and storage environment of mobile health units.
Assist patients / visitors with safe entry and exit on the mobile unit. Assist with administrative support and operations of clinic, including but not limited to greeting and registering patients, filing, assisting patients with form completion, making copies, and other duties as assigned.
Maintain accurate written and electronic records of mobile health unit mileage and clinic locations, pre- and post-trip forms, daily vehicle usage log, AED safety log, fire extinguisher logs, and maintenance logs.
Maintain all DOT and vehicle logs as required by law and all company documents.
Schedule maintenance and repair of mobile health units, including but not limited to oil changes, generator maintenance, tire rotation, exterior and interior cleaning, and maintenance of event equipment.
Knowledge of transportation and driver safety practices typically obtained by a high school degree or GED or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Skill in operation and maintenance of motor vehicles is required. A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required, or must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
Specific knowledge, certifications, and licensure will apply at the position level.

Commensurate with education and experience. Minimum $12.74-$15.00 hourly
