There is a role for a Marketing Specialist Oncology to join our team in Athens.
The main responsibilities in this role are to deliver results aligned with IO brand and company goals, ensure commercial success through strategic thinking, strong project management, and ability to execute leveraging previous marketing experience.
Prepare, coordinate and execute Brand Plan and Tactical Plan and liaise cross-functionally with local teams such as medical, field access, and sales to ensure implementation.
Lead IO brand strategy in coordination with other indication marketers and pull together and drive marketing activities across all functions to ensure that results are achieved.
The other job responsibilities :
Assess and analyze marketplace and develop clear understanding of both internal and external environment.
Analyze data from a variety of sources and interpret to shape brand decisions and effective business plans.
Engage in marketing projects from A to Z and lead / coordinate projects which involve several indications (company events, congress participation etc)
Leverage on innovative channels to target customer segments
Seek feedback following IO activities to understand customer needs, and develop action plans to address these needs.
Build relationships with all functions impacted in business environment (Internal and External). Be active member of Brand Team meetings.
Build and maintain a robust business environment for BMS in Oncology in Cyprus, in collaboration with marketing, medical and market access teams.
Actively provide support to the field force and ensure that plans are implemented flawlessly, and commitments are acted upon.
Work closely with the Medical SA to drive strategy
Liaise with the Market Access team on value, pricing, access stakeholder communications etc.
Develop patient models, sales forecasts and actively manage Direct Promotional Expenses (DPE).
Ensure full compliance with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics
Skills & competencies
Ability to communicate effectively across levels to impact and influence people and advanced presentation skills
Demonstrate strength in business planning, tactical planning development and execution
Agility and results-driven orientation
Dynamic personality with team work skills and balanced multiplicity of demands on role in a responsive professional manner
Exposure to pharma industry and its full operation
Deep knowledge of product, indications, and competitors
University degree (BSc or other), MSc, MBA, or other is a plus
At least 2 years of Oncology sales experience
Demonstrated ability to execute in a highly dynamic market,
Deep insight into the hospital and / or Oncology environment
Excellent listening and communication skills; selling, influencing, coaching and negotiation skills, clear, logical and concise communication abilities to assist with one-on-one sessions, formal group presentations and written communications.
Strategic thinking and solid understanding of core marketing (and selling) principles / techniques
Ability to own and participate in projects with a strong focus on delivery in regards to quality and adherence to agreed timelines.
Strong financial acumen to manage marketing expenditure
Very good knowledge in relevant computer software such as Excel, Power Point, etc
Very good language skills in Greek and English
