Role Purpose :

The Role’s purpose is to increase content awareness amongst prospect customers and improve the engagement of existing Vodafone TV subscribers by selecting the right content, facilitating its discovery, optimizing the communication means used and implementing activities based on agreed strategies in collaboration with the Public Relations and Marketing Communications departments.

The job holder will be responsible for all the main Usage and In & Out-of Base Communication metrics, will report to the Pay TV Manager and will act as an individual contributor in her / his role, part of the Vodafone TV commercial structure.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Responsible for preparing and managing all Vodafone TV-related content communication information aiming at both internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for content and on-platform editorial curation, including content selection
  • Develops promotional and engagement activities, including go-to market campaigns, in line with marketing plans and strategies
  • Cooperates closely with other teams within marketing and other functions, within Vodafone, including Marketing Communications, Customer Value Management, IT, Digital, Retail / Sales, Customer Care and Public Relations
  • Manages relationship with suppliers and other external TV partners
  • Provides both domestic and international content trends and communication means optimization analyses and proposes relevant actions
  • Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

  • At least 3 years of experience in the TV / Content industry with preferred previous experience in pay TV business
  • Strong knowledge of the content market and its trends
  • Proven content communication and brand management skills is considered an asset
  • Be innovative, sharp, structured / organized, flexible, team player, with drive, motivation, and strong customer & product focus
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to convey information, influence, persuade and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications :

  • Graduate degree Master or MBA is considered a plus
  • Excellent command of Greek and English languages (spoken and written)
  • Computer literate (MS Office).
