Our client, a research-driven, specialty biopharmaceutical group active in global markets which identifies, develops, and markets innovative products in the areas of reproductive medicine and maternal health, urology, and gastroenterology,is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager , based in Athens.

The National Sales Manager will be responsible to develop and lead the sales team in the execution of sales in the Greek market to achieve sales goals.

He / she will manage, train, and develop a team of sales representatives while managing area budgets and executing area business plans.

What you will focus on :

  • Execute, in coordination with his / her team, all sales activities, promotional campaigns, and projects as set in the country plan and directed by his / her line manager, within set budgets
  • Evaluate and correct the performance of the individual Sales Representatives and the team, based upon the set objectives through active coaching and training on the job
  • Prepare annual performance achievement plans for each team member that includes annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business
  • Analyze sales results by products and territories and the factors influencing the results in coordination with the marketing people and make recommendations to the line manager
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and influence professionals to support the company’s products
  • Analyze sales results of each team member to ensure adherence to overall objectives and develop a plan of action. Maintain complete records and keeps sales force fully informed on the results of their sales on a continuing basis
  • Monitor and reinforce the use of the sales force automation system & customer information database
  • Achievement of the monthly, quarterly and annual objectives for the area and each member of his / her team, and the implementation of the plan of action for each sales cycle
  • Keep team members informed at all times, of all corporate policies and procedures (like Compliance, Pharmacovigilance, Data Privacy, etc.
  • and ensure that they are being followed to the fullest extent

  • Participates in the development of the country plan and marketing strategies
  • What We are looking for :

  • At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years managing sales direct reports
  • B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy or related major is desirable
  • PhD in Pharma will be considered an asset
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Fluency in English (oral and written
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
