The Role

Join our IT team in Ecolab Greece as an IT Support Intern based in our Headquarters at Chalandri, Attica. Ecolab’s IT teams leverage advanced technologies and methodologies across multiple domains including customer collaboration, end user computing, enterprise resource planning, cyber security, and business analytics, partnering with our businesses to deliver results.

Our interns develop essential business and IT skills by actively supporting projects and programs that enable breakthrough results for Ecolab’s businesses.

What you will do

  • Under direct supervision you will be responsible for providing basic support to IT users
  • You will use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems
  • Using remote control software, you will provide onsite and cross-border support
  • Conduct regular interaction with IT users using basic customer service skills and communication skills
  • Work with other support functions on projects and activities related to IT.
  • Liaise with partners and vendors on IT related user support. Like for example, open incidents with HP support for hardware maintenance.
  • Conform with ITIL processes and ensuring that all incidents are addressed efficiently, and proper system logging is maintained.
