CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms.

We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments.

    • The project and the team

    It is hard to specify one project you will be engaged in. At the beginning you will be responsible for one or two smaller projects connected with : network analyzing, cybersecurity, threat intelligence or setting up EVPN clusters.

    Generally, CodiLime as a company covers almost all areas of networking and software development. You will have direct contact with backend engineers, frontend developers, UX designers, DevOps Engineers and QA Engineers, so you must know what the development process looks like.

    We do not demand experience as a software engineer, but you must have more than 1 year of experience in the IT sector, just to understand the processes and deliverables.

    The teams are open and communicative, so technical aspects you will be always consulting with technical people. The teams need help with communication with clients, problem solving, introducing good practices from Agile project management approach, budget management, risk and time management.

    Please be aware that your role is treated as a leader position, because you will be keeping the project in good condition.

    This role will allow you to move on to build bigger teams in the future and be a decision-maker in terms of taking new opportunities.

    Other things you should know :

  • The teams you will join consist of less than 6 people including developers, QA automation and DevOps engineers.
  • Project Managers in CodiLime have 2 (max 3) meetings per week from 5-6 pm Warsaw time (because of clients based in the US)
  • We use Kanban / Agile methodology for our delivery work
  • Our current tech stack for the projects include : Python, Django, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, JavaScript, React, Jest, Enzyme, Playwright, Selenium, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana.

    • You will be able to adjust the current stack and select your preferred one in future projects

    Your role

    As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for :

  • Managing the budgets in the projects, calculating margin, taking care of deadlines
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and managing project risks and issues
  • Discussing with the client potential opportunities to develop the project and team
  • Conducting project meetings like : Daily, Planning, Retrospective and demo meetings with clients
  • Preparing weekly reports for high-level client management
  • Conducting 1on1 meetings with your team members
  • Telling about the goals and requirements towards your team members
  • Making sure the team has all the things they need to deliver their work in an efficient manner
  • Sourcing new team members with the HR department (if needed)
  • Shaping the team according to your style of work and project needs

    • Do we have a match?

    As an Junior / Mid Project Manager you must meet the following criteria :

  • Exceptional communication skill
  • Experience in building teams and / or new engineering units
  • Good knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Good knowledge and understanding of planning and estimating methods
  • Experience in management roles - Team Leader, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, Project Manager or similar roles (minimum 1 year)
  • Experience in working with general IT (or telco, cybersec, networking) clients
  • Very good knowledge of English (B2+ level)
  • Passion for technology and problem solving : )
