Project Manager (Embedded)
Location : remote / Wrocław
Branch : project in IoT sector
Job type : B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length : long-term cooperation, first contract for 6 months
Rate : 100-135 PLN / h net on B2B
Start date : ASAP
Working hours : flexible
Remote work : 100% remote
Project : IoT Project - Project Manager in Embedded coordinates the work in the project of developers (60%) / software testers (30%) and analyst / architect (10%).
What will you do :
Coordinate and synchronise release scopes, timelines and targets for systems and solutions
Composed of different software parts (Embedded, BE, FE) on different environments and control units.
Ensure a continuous release management with various releases, ensure consistency between the different releases and of the overall release chain.
Establish processes to harmonize feature-based continuous software deployment cycles and release-based hardware deployment cycles in a highly automated manner.
Maintain and track feature implementation, release state and quality (including reports).
Write and maintain documentation about releases (inc. Release Notes) and deployments.
Host release control board meetings with the management team and external stakeholders.
Coordinate definition of feature complete milestones, release candidates and final release.
Streamline the communication within the team and towards stakeholders for all topics related to releases.
Work closely together with product and QA management, development teams and release managers of dependent products.

What we expect from you :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or comparable quantitative field.
At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager, Release Manager or comparable.
Experience with agile software development methods and tools like Scrum, Git, Jira, Asana, Polarion.
Used to take ownership of processes and releases with a solution-oriented and highly structured mindset to drive all team members to an on-time and successful delivery of multiple releases.
Enthusiasm to designing pragmatic processes that support agile team working and willingness to improve them whenever they block more than help.
Used to work on the edge between agile and waterfall environments in the context of release management and knowledge how to support companies in the transition process towards continuous deployment.
Domain knowledge and experience about building technologies or home automation and understanding of the challenges combining such dependent hardware-driven solutions and multi-layer software-development.
Ability to act as the interface within the team and towards external stakeholders for all release related topics.
Excellent English skills, German skills are of advantage.
