As the Fixed Networks product portfolio is getting virtualized, we as Fixed Networks Professional Services are evolving our services portfolio to support delivery through micro services and cloud-based solutions by developing professional services for our customers.
Organizational-wise the role resides in the Service Engineering team which is part of Fixed Networks Professional Services.
Our team developing and delivering professional services for both internal and customer projects, to support integration, validation, and implementation of new applications within an agile way.
Mainly working with cloud technologies. Team consists of members from different cultures, so we have multi-cultural, friendly and collaborative environment.

As part of our team, you will :
Research, design, plan, develop and / or evaluate new advanced solutions by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design.
Perform Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) for blueprint solutions and customer solutions (customizations). It comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against requirements and specifications.
Covers the development of test protocols, the setup of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices. Typical delivery milestones are Proof of Concept (PoC) and Production readiness.
Support to PS Product Line Manager team in the enablement of professional services innovations for product pull-through, including re-engineering based on field experiences.
Support to delivery teams and documentation.
E2E system integration.
Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the customer's networked application needs, providing solution modelling, testing, and consulting to further clarify needs, and engineering to deliver the solution.
Design, define, and implement integrated hardware / software systems requirements for customers and / or prepare, study, and analyse existing systems.
Obtain knowledge on the Fixed Networks technology domains like SDAN, Next Generation PON, etc. for future services enablement.
Professional Services is working typically around use cases to link and leverage the technology domain with the Services Innovations & applications.
Your skills and experience
If You have :
Expertise and experience on IT and Telecommunications application domains / concepts covering : Linux operating systems administration (RedHat, Ubuntu etc.
TCP / IP, VLAN,DHCP,DNS and routing protocols Virtualization Virtualized Network Functions (VNF)
Experienced in container runtimes (i.e., Docker) and containerized application and services management (K8s, OpenShift etc.)
Analytical mindset, capable of combining and analysing information from several different sources. Strong cognitive skills, advanced English, interpersonal skills and has cross-cultural knowledge and global mindset.
It would be nice if you also had :
Cloud expertise in any public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Container image preparation and helm chart knowledge
Scripting experience, Shell scripting Terraform Ansible Python Robot Framework
GPON (OLT + ONU / MDU), EPON, NGPON2, DOCSIS, AMS & Enhanced Applications, Altiplano or other Element Management Systems
Individual contributor performs and / or coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental / project objectives. Also, will have to be able to work constructively in and with customer projects and teams
Proven capability in bringing concepts and requirements to implementation, that includes performing due diligence for assessing and on-boarding 3rd party packages (software components)
Knowledge and experience in process management
Experience in working with international teams in diverse locations, team player
Work to influence others to accept views, practices and approaches. Requires ability to communicate with functional leadership regarding team & technical matters.
May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function. May at times be required to negotiate regarding operational issues.
