The role
You will play a key role in the controlling and reporting team (Inventory, CAPEX, OPEX, manufacturing contracts) as well as supporting and managing key management reports and forecasting processes.
Detailed variance analysis and assessment of new manufacturing contracts will also be part of this job. You will to the Head of Controlling and support the business unit senior management as well as others. This role will involve :
Setting up a strong reporting framework for the manufacturing functions
Report on, and analyse information relating to P&L, Balance Sheet, Operational Metrics and Labour
Drive strategic initiatives to achieve synergies
Support the controlling team with special focus on :
Participate in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles
Perform a high standard of ad hoc analysis and financial modelling supporting senior management e.g. CAPEX analysis, operational enhancements etc.
Analyse financial data and create reports on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Use financial data (models) to create actionable business insights, supporting decisions to increase business value
What we are looking for
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking to consolidate their skills and build their profile by working closely with senior management.
You'll need experience of working as an Analyst or financial controller, within a manufacturing setting, and a proactive and pragmatic approach.
You'll need to be confident to build relationships with your various international stakeholders and you'll have a keen eye for detail - your work will be used by senior management to support major operational decisions.
Business related degree with relevant business experience (+3-5 years). Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) would be a plus.
High level of proficiency in the use of Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft applications.
Comfortable with building and using complex financial models
Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines
Good understanding of SAP Controlling related functionality. Hyperion / BPC would be a plus.
Confident in communicating with Senior Management and distilling issues into key focus areas;
Comfortable working in periods of uncertainty and change;
Excellent English verbal, written and reasoning skills;
Goal orientated and a team player;
