Job Description Summary

As an Account Manager for our Imaging Team, you will be responsible for proactively developing and implementing a sales strategy by creating and sustaining strategic relationships / alliances with your Accounts, such as hospitals or hospital groups, government bodies and Group Purchasing Organizations, thereby creating growth for GE Healthcare.

Specialized knowledge in breadth and / or depth, as well as sales experience as an expert in the field will be necessary to execute this role.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Selling to named account(s). Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of assigned accounts’ business and keeping management, product teams, services and marketing informed and appropriately involved.
  • Build relationships, develop a business strategy, and maximize business opportunities for products and services within the allocated accounts & territory.
  • Represent and acts as a primary customer point of contact.

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy / strategy.
  • Knowledge of best practices and of how the allocated area integrates with others; aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • A strong individual contributor in the team with an ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking as well as internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Explains information in a clear and strategic manner; strong ability to bring team members to consensus around topics within the field.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in Sales & Account Sales.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University preferably in a Biomedical engineering, medical physics or related sciences discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Fluency in both English and Greek languages.
  • Proficient PC user (Excel / Word / PowerPoint & other IT tools).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid EU Work Permit and EU driver's license.
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related discipline would be considered an asset
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels internally within the organization and externally
  • High level presentation skills : able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact
  • Self-starter able to manage time and organize and prioritize workload. Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude. Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
