Job Description & Summary
The opportunity :
We would like to inform you that the Independence office team, part of our Internal Firm Services, is now proceeding with the recruitment of professionals, who will focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.
Our Independence team provides guidance on all areas of PwC independence policy and the regulatory environment.
The role entails :
Liaise with all Lines of Services (Advisory, Assurance, Tax & Legal) to address inquiries & consultations
Work collaboratively to drive ideas / solutions with team to bring efficiencies and exploit technology opportunities
Provide support for monitoring processes and procedures of the Independence Office (ie Personal Independence Compliance, Training, Compliance with Network Standard, etc)
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a range of key stakeholders
Monitor Regulatory developments and changes and collaborate with Regulatory team
Monitor changes driven by PwC Global and empowerment of communication channels with the Network
Other ad hoc projects
What we are looking for :
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Political Sciences, Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting and any other relevant field
From 1 to 6 years of relevant work experience
General knowledge of regulatory and business environment
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office & G Suite
A confident and positive attitude with team spirit
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in both spoken and written English
Commitment to providing excellent quality work within predetermined deadlines
Willingness for continuous learning and personal development
