Role purpose : Accountable for delivery of overall internal and external customer satisfaction, warehouse stock count targets and cost savings from logistics

Provides a high service level on logistics and warehousing activities including stock handling, intakes, order customs, return handling and transportation activities

Manage outsource partners for logistics and the relevant budget and reporting

Essence of Role Key Accountabilities :

Impact on the business

  • Ensures the processes and procedures within Logistics and Warehousing are carried out effectively, including activities such as stock handling, order desk, incoming and return transactions and distribution to customers / shops
  • Ensures necessary process flow, quality checking and documentation of stock in line with Vodafone standards and procedures.
  • Monthly stock and transaction reconciliation in cooperation with Accounting Department / Register corrective actions

  • Reports on orders, returns and managing contacts with suppliers, forwarding agents and customs office as required. Monthly reports related to existing SLA
  • Monitors capacities, subcontractor performance to KPIs
  • Responsible for logistics budget. Monitors financial cost per activity per month
  • Monthly reports regarding warehouse and distribution cost (cost per item)
  • Coordinating processes to ensure customer orders satisfaction in all business channels (VF stores, Business Customers, On-
  • Line Customers, Telemarketing Customers)

  • Monitoring & Follow up Contracts regarding warehousing processes related to 3PL Warehouse & Courier Services
  • Yearly Stock Count
  • Exchange ideas and information effectively, to explain ideas and concepts in a concise and logical way
  • Customers, suppliers and third parties

  • Supports terminals global and local initiatives
  • Collaborates with global logistics terminals
  • Collaborates with Finance, CBU, EBU

  • Knowledge and experience

  • Broad knowledge in logistics
  • 3-5 years expertise in logistics
  • In depth knowledge of contemporary methods and techniques of logistics
  • In depth knowledge of ERP (i.e. SAP) and WMS (i.e. MANTIS) applications
  • Financial skills
  • Communication

  • Responsible for the communication with the outsource terminals logistics partners
  • Responsible for the communication with the internal customers (touch points)
  • Responsible for the communication with global logistics team

  • Qualifications : graduate from University BA
  • Knowledge of logistics, sales, channel support
  • High level negotiations and communication skills
