The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing, building and operating the TAP natural gas pipeline.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
TAP is the European leg of the Southern Gas Corridor, a gateway project that will transport 10 billion cubic metres (bcm / a) of new gas supplies to multiple markets in Europe.
TAP’s 878-km transportation system crossing Greece, Albania, the Adriatic Sea & Italy started its commercial operations and we are looking for our Procurement Specialist (1 2 years fixed term contract) to join our Procurement Hub in Athens.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our supplier (indirect) base and vendor relationships throughout TAP in Greece, Italy, Albania and Switzerland.
In this highly visible position, you will be responsible for the development and execution of indirect procurement strategies as well as the development of tender documentation, running a compliant tender process, negotiating with suppliers, and awarding subsequent contracts.
This is a hands-on role that requires in-depth experience in this field. From time to time, you will be required to have difficult and challenging conversations with your stakeholder groups to deliver the best outcomes for TAP.
You will also be adept at finding win-win solutions using data, network contacts and local expertise. Our goal is to maximise value and minimise the risk of spending with suppliers (indirect).
This is a one (1) or two (2) years Fixed-term contract , based in Athens , Greece, and you will be required to travel to TAP Headquarters in Switzerland, as well as to sites Italy and Albania when required, on an ad-hoc basis.
The role reports to the Procurement Manager.
