What you will be doing
Lead, coordinate and realize experimental analytical activities and related services for materials and processes relevant to manufacturing of cement, concrete and cement-based products with significance to TITAN Group, particularly on crystallographic and microscopic analyses and investigations.
Contribute to implementation of advanced analytical methods for quality control at manufacturing facilities, as well as develop operational procedures and systems, in line with TITAN priorities related to operational excellence, decarbonization and digitalization.
Provide specialist expertise and support, to collect, analyze, interpret and manage experimental analytical and other data, aiming to implement best practices and contribute to process and product development activities.
Drive, coordinate and collaborate with project teams across TITAN Business Units to deliver results in a goal-directed, time-conscious and structured way, managing cross-functional interfaces.
Oversee updates of operational manuals, data collection forms and websites associated with Innovation and Quality activities.
Experience & Qualifications :
PhD Diploma in Science or Engineering (preferably in Physics, Chemistry, or Chemical, Industrial, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering), and proven working experience of at least two years in relevant research or industrial position.
Alternatively, Master’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferably in Physics, Chemistry, or Chemical, Industrial, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering) with proven working experience of at least four years in relevant industrial or research position.
Technical proficiency on crystallographic and microscopic analytical methods, or similar competency. Hands-on experience related to cement-based products, as well as mastery of other spectroscopic methods (including XRF) will be considered very positively.
Exceptional scientific background with proven record of accomplishment (e.g. high calibre published work, relevant completed projects or other appropriate).
Demonstrated capacity on project management, processes and tools, including planning and tracking progress, timelines and budgets.
