    The Federal Office is proud of its IT, not least because of the award-winning digitization project "Digitization of the Asylum Procedure".

    The 2020 digitization agenda alone included 115 different plans, projects and procedures, as well as our blockchain project, which was awarded the eGovernment prize.

    Unit 22B provides a future-proof cloud platform and associated services for IT projects and IT procedures for the entire Federal Office.

    The range of services includes the operation, (further) development and administration of platforms and applications. As an interface, Unit 22B provides support on various topics, such as IT architecture, IT security, test management and communication with IT service providers.

    Your tasks

    As the officer, you will be responsible for leading or coordinating the development and operation of cloud and platform services, as well as defining the Federal Office's infra and cloud architecture.

    This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities.

  • Project management tasks, such as the (resource) control, project coordination, definition of work packages and scheduling, quality assurance, as well as consulting departments and development teams regarding implementation options and architecture guidelines.
  • Inter-authority creation, verification and validation of architecture concepts as well as functional implementation of software architectures (including enterprise, cloud, IAM, infrastructure and DevOps architectures)
  • Coordinating and conceptual activities, such as writing templates and BAMF-internal letters, assisting in the implementation of procurement processes and supporting the head of unit
  • Your profile

  • You have completed a relevant (technical) university degree at master's level with an information technology focus (e.
  • g., computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, or mathematics) or an engineering, technical, or natural science university degree with an information technology focus or equivalent proven skills and experience
