What you will learn and contribute to
As a Solution Sales Consultant (SSC) in the Enterprise Global Business Center, you will endorse the primary solutioning role within Enterprise Presales for Packet Core products and solutions (EnSo) :
Provide all the necessary proactive technical presales support to the Market Units to meet the assigned OI (Order Intake) and revenue targets for CNS EnSo.
Bring and maintain technical expertise in CNS Enterprise products and solutions involving CNS Packet Core Portfolio (CMU, APC, CMM, CMG)
Lead customer facing technical engagements, understanding customer business, technical and operational pain points, requirements and KPI’s (use cases, integration points, etc.
and provide subject matter expertise on complex cross-domain solutions
Support Enterprise Sales teams on creating win strategy, value based selling guidelines and value argumentation; competitive benchmarking and lessons learned
Develop deep understanding of key technology trends (standards, industry events, etc.)
Establish trusting relationship with customer working level stakeholders who provide recommendations to the technical decision makers, to align on technology needs and roadmaps and identify cross-selling / up-selling opportunities for Nokia and CNS
Lead discussions on technical requirements and gaps with Product Managers and System Engineers to ensure customer commitments can be met, during pre-sales engagements and to make sure products and services roadmap align with customers’ mid to long-term needs
Collaborate in technical discussions with other Nokia Business Groups and 3rd parties to provide adequate E2E solution to customers.
Document end-to-end architecture including Nokia and 3rd party products, associated interfaces and any adaptations needed, to guide the pre-sales engagement and offers
Support the sales team in complex technical discussions and solutions / architecture presentation to customers
Participate in periodic reviews with Product Managers and Global teams to align on market technology trends
Guide offer solution strategy for complex cross-domain offers, working with solution architects and specialists as required
Collaborate with the broader NOKIA and partners to design joint solutions and support joint sales engagements
Strictly adhere to the published NOKIA SELL & CNS processes
Complete all administrative assignments comprehensively and on-time
Represent NOKIA in a professional and an ethical manner
Travel to customer meetings and related business activities in assigned territory and may vary depending on the opportunities
Your skills and experience
At least 5 years of work experience in the telecommunications domain particularly on Packet Core : 5GC (AMF / SMF / UPF / NRF), 4G / EPC (SGW / PGW / GGSN / SGSN / EPDG) and Cloud Native / Virtualization technologies (NCS, Containers / Kubernetes, RH Openstack / Openshift, VMware, etc)
Intimate technical knowledge of Packet Core solutions and protocols (eMBB, IoT, Corporate services)
High level knowledge of products within Nokia’s or equivalent software products (Cloud Enterprise Core Products) and emerging technologies in 5G, IoT, etc.
Good understanding of IP technology (VPN, BGP, Ethernet, MPLS, etc..) is a serious plus.
Ability to discuss detailed technical issues with customers, management and BU / Product Line
Established and smooth communication with the Packet Core BU : gather / prioritize EUR customer requirements. Provide BU feedback towards customers and manage situations.
Understand the competition and develop value propositions that differentiate
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.

Familiar with the sales and decision processes of customers
Point of contact for CT (AM) and SSM from different Operators regarding contractual matters
Very good communication and interworking with SSM colleagues from other operators as this is required especially for regulatory requirements
Good knowledge of the interlock processes and experience with the end to end aspects, including the complete picture with Network Management, Orchestration and Infrastructure
Long year experience Change Requests process for SW changes from technical and sales perspective
