The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing and building the TAP natural gas pipeline.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
Based in TAP’s offices in Athens , the ICT Transport & Commercial Systems Service Manager reports to the ICT Director. The position will be accountable for the availability and performance of TAP’s key Transport and Commercial systems.
Key components of this role are the defining and management of the core commercial and transport systems used to run TAP’s asset.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Define Service Level Agreement with partners and monitor partners performance
Coordinate Application Management and Application Maintenance for area of responsibility
Organize and coordinate testing phases; get approval from end users to go-live
Service assurance of systems in production; end user assistance coordination
Service desk management; end user support
Software licence provisioning
Focal point for assessing customers’ needs for IT services and functional enhancements
Create specifications, specification sheets and define tenders
Lead and / or validate technical solution design for required services
Define budget for solution / service required
Monitor project and / or activities progress, report on cost and risk management
Knowledge of Transport systems : SCADA and Metering
Knowledge of Commercial Dispatching systems and Gas Booking Platforms
Profound IT knowledge basis, especially in terms of data bases, web technologies, Enterprise Application Integration technologies
Knowhow in release and life cycle management of applications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Sciences, Physics or Mathematics, preferably in the field of IT infrastructure management or IT security.
Master’s Degree will be an asset
Service Management experience (optional certification)
Knowledge of TSO business and related processes
Good knowledge of the following process : Commercial Dispatching Meter reading Transportation Capacity Management Transportation system control Simulation & Optimization (Gas transport)
Professional & Management Experience
Several years of work experience in IT Application Maintenance Services
Strong Experience in Transportation System Control and in Commercial System
At least 10 in years in IT Department and at least 5 years in the position (Application Service Management)
Third party management
Service and Project planning and reporting
Experience of working in multi-disciplined teams is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
Flexible with can do attitude
Significant part of the onboarding process will take place in TAP's headquarters in Switzerland
